Why have an engagement shoot

Pre-wedding shoots really do capture the excitement of being newly engaged but there is also a practical side to them too! They are great opportunity to get comfortable with your photographer as well as being in front of their camera ahead of your big day.

If you have chosen Deene Park as your dream venue, it is likely that you fell in love with venue the Estate due to it's breathtakingly beautiful grounds - and as it is the location that you have chosen to have such a key moment of your lives - this really does make it the perfect location to capture the joy of being engaged.

An engagement photo session also allows you more private time to explore the grounds of Deene Park, meaning on the day of your wedding you will be even more familiar with your surroundings.

It is also a perfect chance for your photographer to get to know you, and learn more about your personalities.

"Have a look at some of my other pre-wedding shoots for outfit ideas courtesy of my previous couples. It’s important you feel confident and comfortable. I’ll help you relax in front of the camera – so all you have to do is wear something that makes you feel good and show up! I recommend bringing some flat shoes, as we can do quite a lot of walking around the gardens. We’ll encounter some uneven terrain and maybe a bit of
goose poo! If you want, bring your heels and we can start off with some more glamorous shots in the courtyard and formal gardens, and then change into ‘comfy country chic’ to explore the rest of the estate."

You can even bring your furry friends along! Get in touch with the planning team now to book in your pre-wedding shoot!
